Rock mass reinforcement

Applications

  • Shotcreting of mine workings (roofs and sidewalls)
  • Building insulating dams
  • Making protective support strips
  • Making insulating backfill strips
  • Making preliminary support
  • Connecting support with rock mass
  • Filling voids in rock mass
  • Insulating roofs and sidewalls against water and gas ingress (reducing coal self-ignition tendency)
  • Protecting exposed rock surfaces against weathering

Properties

  • Excellent adhesion
  • Rapid strength development
  • Low material waste during application
  • Easy to use
  • Non-flammable
  • Polymer fiber binders are characterized by:
  • Increased resistance to cracking
  • Increased fatigue resistance and impact strength
  • Synthetic fiber resistance to aggressive water

Advantages
